A Historic Theatre with a Lasting Impact
The Palace Theatre has been a cornerstone of the Manchester arts community for over 100 years. Opened in 1915, the theatre was the vision of Greek immigrant Victor Charas, who sought to bring first-class entertainment to New Hampshire. Now beautifully restored, the Palace Theatre stands as a remarkable professional performing arts center, offering 834 seats for theatre goers to enjoy a wide range of performances. It is the only remaining theatre from Manchester’s once vibrant entertainment district that touted 22 theatres, preserving Charas’ legacy as a cultural hub.
