900 Degrees Owner Priscilla Lane-Rondeau Featured on Beyond the Plate Podcast
When you step inside 900 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria in Manchester, NH, you will catch the scent of wood-fired pizza mingling with the warmth of exposed brick and the laughter of regulars at the 20-seat bar. That is the magic Owner Priscilla Lane-Rondeau has been creating for 18 years, and recently, she shared her story with Carol Lawrence, Owner & President of the Red Arrow Diner, on the Beyond the Plate podcast.
“We’re kind of one of those hidden gems,” Priscilla said. “When we were thinking about doing the restaurant and looking around at spaces, I walked into this space, and it was like a vision… the perfect upscale pizzeria.” That vision took shape inside a historic mill building — once a storage house for locomotive works — with its stone wall, soaring beams, and now, a flower-lined deck with heaters for year-round dining.
While guests come for our award-winning, signature wood-fired pizzas, they return for so much more: the famous mussels that draw fans from miles away, hearty lasagna and pasta, crisp salads, and indulgent house-made desserts like the Peanut Butter Cloud Pie – so popular, people order whole pies for the holidays – and specialty cannoli with house-made fillings in rotating flavors.
Priscilla keeps the energy high with weekly events designed to make any day feel like the weekend — $10.00 Martini Mondays featuring creations like The Fenway and The Purple Rain, 1.5 Tuesday pizza deals, and Unwind Wednesdays with half-off select bottles of wine. Add annual fireworks-viewing parties, craft beer takeovers, and wine events, and there is always a reason to stop by.
Behind it all is a loyal team, including General Manager Dan Gove, who has brought 15 years of catering expertise and a deep appreciation for Manchester’s restaurant community. “It’s been a roller coaster, but I would do it all over again,” Priscilla reflected on the Beyond the Plate podcast. “I’m lucky to have an amazing team, loyal guests, and a space that continues to inspire me every day.”
